what is it??

and are those LEDs on a floating board? otherwise thats one hell of an optical illusion

It is a 1 sec looper/sampler/stutter/glitch pitch shifting pedal.
The LED daughterboard is attached to the pots using 9 vias:

Really nice job. The layout i suprime. My guess a Dr Boogie with  Meeter LED:s  :o
Thanks. The leds are indicating one of the 8 working modes, like +/-1octave, reverse play etc...

Could you give a name to this fair maiden? I would love to build one

Stick the Tremulus Lune in a Feedback Loop and your neighbors will call the cops on you. Which will be awesome.

You squeezed it into a 1590A - you insane fool!  :icon_mrgreen:

Well this... this is just silly... this can't fit in a 1590B... can it? And you're not even using SMD you mad man!

This ones digital right?
You both need the schematics AND the source code then ;D
The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)

I wish I had started getting into decals sooner. I've been using them a lot lately and they look soo much better than anything I was doing before.

John Lyons

Those look sharp David!
Is that color laser on the red decal or inkjet decal?
The Copper hammer and TB fonts look real purdy.

Nitefly182

Its all inkjet. I have tried laserjet before and they looked like shit and were way too fragile. The inkjet ones look much nicer and because you clear them are much much sturdier.

meffcio

Inkjet? You're using a normal inkjet printer to do those? Anything more about that technique?

roseblood11

I use Laser-Decals, with the same results as Inkjet... Of course, the enclosure is clear-coated after applying the decals.

Hello together,
here is my latest build, an Orange Treble and Bass-Booster based on an own PCB-Layout:

...and my TONE BENDER MKII PROFESSIONAL finally got new knobs, Chickenheads for sure - now it's also finished  ;)

Magnus, firstly very slick builds. congrats secondly are they little windows so you can display the transistors in the Mk 2 tonebender?  :D
if so nice idea, if not a little geeky  ;D

Yes, you can see the polished germanium-transistors,
they are illuminated with 2 blue 3mm-Leds as you can see here:

How do you get your wires so stiff and neat? its like they're suspended in the air!

Taylor

It's not mine, but I'll venture a guess:

solid core wire+pliers+focus

Could this wire be the pre bond wire available at Small Bear?  I envy the neatness too and think I'll get some of this stuff for future builds.

Very nice pics from everyone.   ;D

Taylor

Yeah, you can get almost that rectilinear with the prebond, but it's not quite as stiff so it doesn't hang there as rigidly. I like it more than solid core, for sure. But my builds aren't quite that neat.

phector2004

i dunno I use solid core + pliers... i shape it up, put it all together, but it sags and the bends widen by the time im done soldering. Practice makes perfect, i guess?

Straightening the wire before bending it helps.

Easiest way to straighten is with a drill - take a length of wire, clamp one end to the bench, the other in the drill chuck, spin for some number of turns, reverse the drill and return. Straight wire.

Hello,
thank you  :)

I do not use solid wire, I use braiding (hope this is translated correctly).
I think its more difficult using strong wire because it is not so flexible to shape.

I prepare the braiding with my fingernails, fingertip and a little tweezer  ;)
