Slade

I like the graphics style in that etch Slade! I built the pearl octaver with smd ic's last year right before the turkeyday contest and haven't boxed it up yet. It's really a great sounding octave v^.

Gonna give enclosure etching a try real soon!

Nice sounds in the demo clip too!
Thank you! It's an awesome effect!

Dig those arrows under the knobs!
Sounds great as well.

Thanks, John, glad you like it.

Very nice graphic design on this, love those the knobs and always like the two tone finishes, did you polish the top or is it a plate?
[/quote]

Thank you! The top is an aluminium polished plate, I put it over the red enclosure.

Looks amazing. May I ask which layout that is and/or where I might find it?

Thank you, here's the layout:

That looks like a super cool unit!
How much clearance is there between the bolt and the other side of the chassis when it's all closed up? Also, what transformer did you use?

:) About 8mm, handmade ring transformer.

Leston Braun

Earlier I built one Fuzz Face with AC128 trannies, and then I wanted to explore more. On the green one are "low gain" AC128-set from Banzai, and for the blue and red ones I ordered "medium gain" and "high gain" matched sets. The silvery one is silicon/NPN, with BC109 salvaged from a broken, rather old fuzz circuit board, which I got from my cousin a few years ago.

This one is a Colorsound Power Boost, that I built for a friend of mine.
