John is too modest - look at some of his other snake works:

I think I already posted this one...My modest contribution to snakeskin...
It's decoupage paper (I don't know if you call it decoupage as well...but I guess you know what it is) glued to the encl.
It houses a Si Fuzz Face

Done an' workin'=Too many to mention - Tube addict!

I like the colors in that one Adriano.

No I never got around to it, my brother stole it before I could even try it out! He's a traveling musician so it might be a while before I get the chance to do any gutshots :p

I find it funny how I can have close to 1000 components, yet I never seem to have enough parts to make a project. :icon_eek:

I actually found his page when I started my amp,and was sourcing real snakeskin.
I have it bookmarked  :icon_biggrin:
I didnt realize till now that he is the same person,It was THAT guitar that finally made me greenlight the project and think it
would look sic when its finished.Of course I couldnt afford the real snake ,just like I am using 1$ Rayco enclosures instead of nice
Hammond boxes.
I wish I could get my seams to look as nice as his.
HOW did you seam that on that pedal box?
I'm no EE or even a tech, just a monkey with a soldering iron that can read, and follow instructions. ;D

john, my pedals cannot be compared to yours, each one that comes from your hand is a masterpiece...
My snakeskin is, well, so so, I liked the result but I know I can do better...Next one, then!!!  :icon_twisted:
The colors on mine are so shiny as I had several layers of clear and went with fine sanding first (like 200 I believe) and some hand buffing...

Hello together,

Quote@Magnus: That fuzzface is just amazing work both inside and out, really neat!
Thank you  :)

Birdseye-maple: WOW!!!

The snakeskin-pedals and the guitar - very porn, great unique work!

Here is the next one, a Sola Sound Tone Bender MKII-Clone
I built on an own pcb-layout with Cornell Dubilier-Caps and a set of three matched AC122.
The transistors you see trough the holes on the frontpanel are lighten by blue led's:
You can switch the light off with the little switch on the side (longer lasting battery, red led is a low-current-type)...

The pcb with transistor-mounting-plate (diy too):

The lighting-section (brightness can be changed with the mini-trimpot):

The transistor-sockets:

And at last the guts:

a couple of gut shots. sorry they were taken off my phone though...

tremolo. all of the LFO is on the right and the audio actives on the left so it's dead quiet. the foot switch turns the entire LFO off if anyone is wondering what's going on there.

another germanium boost pedal, but with a three way frequency switch. i used teflon and tried to keep it simple (which the circuit is) but it still looks like an explosion at the spaghetti factory!!

My "Jawari" build, I call it the "swamy".  It really doesnt sound that great I was expecting something a little better.  Oh well I can always recycle it into something else
