Nice.  Where'd the knobs come from?

Local surplus electronics store... it's a mess in there, but I can always find cool knobs!

Hello together,
great etched Dr. Boogey  ;)
...the other pedals are also fantastic!

Here's my "Overdrive Pro 808" - what could it be?  ;D

Click for larger image:

Nothing special so far, but it has some Mojo-Parts:

- 1S1588 "blue band"-Diodes (they really sound much better than the 1N914 I used before!)
- 2SC1815-Transistors (no difference to equivalents but some mojo  ;))

...and you can choose between symmetric (Standard) and asymmetric Clipping (Mod)

Nice image, but did the knob HAVE to go there??  That knob makes me sad.   :icon_cry:

It's the flowers that make me sad....... :D

is that a tinted clear coat?  If so, what kind is it?  It looks great

darron

thanks for the kind words guys. i wish i put more effort into the photo now. i made sure to have some of the work bench in the shot though (:

it's raw aluminium, sanded smooth, then very very finely wire brushed with a dremel style tool. then powder coated with a semitransparent colour.

idea comes from the muzique.com site, which links directly to http://www.instructables.com/id/Simulated-woodgrain-for-metal-boxes/. scroll to the last page there too for some different results!

This is the SMALL MUFF pi (triangle version) . Not really my kind of sound. but I do really like the colour. The sound is  a bit over the top for my taste but it sounds like it should according to sound samples on YouTube.

The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)

Wow, that's a beautiful graphic Slade.  Your etching work is beyond amazing.

I'm wondering about the significance of the spilt blood?  Or is it blackbird poo?  :icon_razz:

darron

ah solderman! we'll start calling you reducto! (see harvey birdman for reference)

Hahahaha!!!! It's supossed to be bloodstains! No special significance but I think it explains pretty good the sound of the pedal ;)
