Sorry for all the duplicates guys, this is final version.....I like a small metal knob best for the cap switch.
I get most of my oil caps in old movie projectors.

That variac plate under the big knob is cool - but do you have a pot that will actually turn about 330 degrees like a variac?  Most pots only turn about 270 or maybe 300 degrees and your underside view seems to show that if the pot can be turned to zero on the scale, it will not go to 100.

Looks like a BIG problem. It might stop at 11  ;)
The only bad sounding stomp box is an unbuilt stomp box. ;-)

Not exactly a stompbox, but it's a active electronic for a electric upright bass.

Yep your right. It does not go completely to zero but all the way to 100!.....its usually at 100 anyway.

Sneak peek of what I've got going on, now that I'm making more time to build...one of my bandmates is graciously hand-painting some enclosures for me. This will hold an echo base in the near future:

He's done some others that are absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to stuff 'em!

Well, That's probably a pre view of what's goanna happen when the Cellulitic old ladies wearing knee socks has concord the world and finished it as we know it. The Human race is forced to move to the arctic´s and is at constant threat to be extinct by mutant polar bears.
Without knowing it you are pre viewing history and making the apocalyptic stomp box series. :o
Opps I must have watched too much Flash forward on the telli.. ;)

Astro. A single transistor od based on the Trotsky. It's pretty much completely different values for everything though. Uses a GT404 and two D18 diodes, and has 3 modes for cut.

guitar tube preamp
modified ECH81/ECH83 preamp

things i've changed :
no 100k at pin 2 input, 1Mo to ground before pin 9 (instead of 47K), and replaced 1Mo at pin 2 with a 1Mo pot for gain.

My 1st etch! I'm a huge Yankees fan and I found this design on the web and had to do something with it.
I'm not sure what I'm gonna put in the enclosure yet, but it was a fun project.

I love the look of that one. Very cool knobs, great retro feel.

knealebrown,
Awesome candy you got going on there.
What brand and color paint did you use?
Deception does not exist in real life, it is only a figment of perception.
