I have to say, Theres been allot of great builds so far. Keep 'em coming.  :icon_mrgreen:
Here's my Echo Base Iv been working on for awhile now and just finished it today. Thanks Slacker for such a great project. This Echo base is stock for the most part but does have some mods. I added a true bypass loop so I can still keep the tails but can true bypass the effect if I want to. The effect it self is not true bypassed. I added the modulation switch which is a nice to have and germanium diodes in the feedback loop. The germanium diodes seem to cut back on distorted repeats, plus I did add some other mods to help cut back on distorted repeats as well. I have the blue led adjust with the speed knob but only when the modulation switch is on. Don't know why that is but no big deal. All in all, It was a fun build and allot of work.

I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused.
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used.
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise.
If I don't stand my own ground, how can I find my way out of this maze?

Please, please, make it page 666 before friday. I'm going off to a 2 day metal fest, and if it doesn't get to page 666 by then i wont be able to post.  :'(

I don't know the official rules for posting, but if it's just a picture or something I could post it up for you when it gets there. Looks like at this rate it will be page 666 way before Friday.

Oh, and nice Echo Base paulyy. Mine is the exact same color, but with white MXR knobs  :icon_lol: I don't have the extra switches (just the bypass and tails/boss) and a pink LED, but it was pretty weird how similar. Very nice!

Thanks for your kind words. Thats crazy because I was thinking about useing a pink led but went with blue and red instead.

Right. I'm reporting that as porn with no NSFW warning.

Here's some more help in the push to 666, my take on the SHO. Used zener protection for the Mosfet as is done in the AMZ Mosfet Booster. Had some 4uF non-polarized electrolytics (the big cap) sitting around looking for a home so used one of those for the input cap (after checking it out on the breadboard). Used an IRFD9024 Mosfet for polarity protection as outlined on Geofex.  http://www.geofex.com/article_folders/mosswitch/mosswitch.htm

Made two boards up, this one uses a 2N7000 and the second board, still waiting for it's 'A' enclosure, uses the BS170.  Pedal works great with my 5F2a, really pleased with this one!

Have fun,
dave

Trad3mark - where do you get the OSSM retro looking knobs?

Dave - what are the dc jack you are using? have you got your own jacket on them?

@davent:
Great SHO-build, I am going to build the SHO in a mini-enclosure too  ;)

@mcelroy0717:
Wow, awesome clean mojo-pedals  :o

I am going to build an authentic 808,

Yeah, nice....

But you know we need the solder side of the board if you want us to say: "Oh, my god, Rick, that's awesometasticbulous" and "That's the best board we've ever seen!"
