Gnarly

Have you used a gnarly wood veneer to line your pedal or is it some more of your paint trickery there? As drool worthy as ever, looks great!

dave

Thanks Dave/guys
The inside is just gold paint dabbed on with a small brush.

I use 4 different methods for graphics.

1. Printing a full face sticker with laser printer on good quality material, then clear coating
2. Cutting letters out of vinyl sticker with a vinyl cutter then using transfer tape to attach them to enclosure, then clear coating
3. Printing reverse images on the backside of a PET plastic/Acrylic sheet with a UV flatbed printer and then shape cutting it with a computer controlled router. I can print CMYK colours+white
4. Old school dymo sticker labels :)

I work in printing industry so I have access to cool tools and materials :)

Very nice work.
I also spent some time on  your website. VERY nice work!

here's my mosrite fuzzrite in a tin can. These cans were given with SIM cards by a local phone operator. BTW, there's a verified layout below. No jumpers and also almost symmetrical.  :) (my first layout)

here's a layout with the 22k resistor switch:

Really like the authentic look of it. Very nice.

PPC, looks great!

1.) what is it?
2.) how did you do the labeling?  It looks invisible. (No seam that I can see.)
3.) guts?

They're teaching you to go through life and get cheated.

Looks like the graphic is a transparency. I like the little trimpots.

Thank you  :icon_biggrin:

1.) what is it?

It's a Lovepedal Kalamazoo clone, it sounds nice and warm, very close to the legendary Klon Centaur.

2.) how did you do the labeling?  It looks invisible. (No seam that I can see.)

It's a transparent - adesive sheet, printed with my crappy inkjet......

3.) guts?

Here:

LaceSensor

why are all your components floating off the board and how are the trimmer secured in the enclosure?

Nice looking build...
