Making Wah Grommets stay stuck!!!???

I dug out my old Cry Baby Wah from the early 70's and decided to bring it back from the dead!
I ordered the rubber Wah Grommets (you know the ones that always fall off) and tried to stick them on with Super Glue. Well, they don't want to stay on. Is there another kind of glue that will keep these things from falling off? Epoxy maybe?

I did a true bypass mod and replaced the pot and man this thing sounds incredible.

Hi!

Good contact cement like "Barge."  Clean both surfaces with alcohol or acetone. Apply cement to both surfaces, let dry for ten minutes.  Join.  That should hold you.
