Do I need to match transistors by gain on Fuzzface in case I use BC108 ?
And how about biasing ?

Thanks.

You may still want to match gain, but I have had really good luck in popping in different types of transistors (with sockets) and rebiasing using trims.

Hi.  I agree.  I find that choosing the right base-collector capacitance is more important than gain.

Tho low gain and low fT usually mean high capacitance and a good sound.

Maybe try some mid-power devices such as BD140(PNP) or BD139(NPN).  Or TIPs or 2N3055/2955.  Or stick a 100pF or 220pF cap across the base-collector junction of small-signal high gain devices such as a BC108.  There's lots of options and much fun to be had!!!

I'm currently running 2xBD139s with 220pF on each of them for a hybrid Si-Ge sound.

Have fun :!:  :D  :D  :D
