Suggestion on Doug Hammond' Highway 89 - too mids

Hi there
http://www.aronnelson.com/gallery/main.php/v/DougH/distortion/hwy89/Hwy+89.gif.html
I've build this for a friend, he's very very impressed by its sound, very dynamic and how it "cleans up" very well with the guitar volume. Though he says that at min gain there are a little bit too mids compared to the clean guitar sound, any idea where I should look for in the crk. I'm going t bradboard it later today, so any suggestion could be tested and evaluated.
Thx guys for you help
Cheers
Armando

Try reducing C6 a bit, to maybe .0047
