I'm building a clone of this pedal with the SAD1024A, and I'm replacing the power transformer with a 9V input, stepped up to 17v (with MAX1044) and then regulated down to 15v.

I've got the schematic (this one - http://experimentalistsanonymous.com/diy/Schematics/Flangers/MXR%20Flanger.gif), and know how to wire the switch and the voltage. The problem is I need help on constructing a decent PCB layout from the schematic - can anyone help me on this?

There are companies you can hire to do that kind of thing...

Otherwise you may have to just dig in and do it yourself. It's a lot of work, and you may have a tough time finding someone willing to put that kind of effort into it...especially with a effect like the MXR flanger, which I'm sure is fairly complex.

I just spent about 6 hours yesterday laying out my first PCB, and it was pretty interesting to do. Much more fulfilling than copying someone else's or ordering a pre-made one from Tonepad or GGG.
