I just finished putting a 5th Gear OD into a size B box, damn those are small.  They sell for $6.25 on smallbearelec, and I know the next size up is only $6.50, anyone know the size differences?  smallbear's site is down right now.

I should have elaborated, when you click on stocklist it has a red closed sign.

If you're talking about the Chinese BB, the size is 4.7" x 3.7" x 1.18".

Nah, I think there is a size between the B and BB.

**edit**
Its back up.

Here is what I have:
Tawainese size B - $6.25 - This is the Sovtek clone of the "small MXR" size box. 4.37" x 2.37" x 1.07". Nicely finished and economical!

Here is what I think will work better:
Tawainese 125B - $6.50 - Very popular for boosts and Fuzzes. 4.7" x 2.4" x 1.6" with ribbed walls for PC card mounting.

Anyone used one of these?  I think the ribbed walls may be annoying...

It depends on your board size.  If you can make the board small enough to fit in the grooves, it's a handy way to mount it.

the ribbed walls arent annoying at all. They really dont get in the way. I think I'm going to use exclusively 125B's from now on if I can.

I recently was looking for a little bigger but not higher box. I'm not a big fan of those Taiwan boxes that stand 3 1/2".

I found a really good Hammond that is about an inch longer than the 1590BB. The Hammond 1590J 5.7x3.7x1.8.

The 1590J looks like it can accommodate three stomp switches with room across the front yet have room to switch them on/off without accidentally switching another switch on/off.
