i was trying to understand how to tin traces on an etched board and came across a couple of links with info new to me:

A simple process for solder coating pc boards.

tinning traces protects them from oxidation over time and, when it comes to working with small finicky components, makes soldering quicker and easier.  by simply adding heat to trace and lead, you can "reflow" the solder to connect the component.

"No Agitation" method of etching PCBs.  A simple alternative for lazy people.

there might even be some experienced etchers who find this one insightful. :icon_wink:
