I got the first half working! I want to add an EQ section per the Geofex article:
http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/EQs/paramet.htm

I don't have any inductors and I have to cram the EQ section between U1A and U1B which leaves me with the Twin T EQs:
http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/EQs/paramet.htm#variable_Q_twin_t

So here are my questions: In the images is 0.5 R half the value of the other resistors? Also, there's no pot on the initial image of the Bootstrapped Twin T, how do you adjust the tone?
I love the smell of solder in the morning.

The output is kinda low when listening through headphones (even though it's only through one ear of stereo phones, it's really low). How can I increase the output? I've got a 1Mohm resistor between the inverting input of U1A and the output of U1A. This should be 30dB gain. Do I need to run the output into the second op amp section to boost it more?

General guitar Gadgets has a schematic and even a PCB for the MXR Microamp preamp. If you want to add a passive EQ you will probably need another amplifier stage to make up the loss through the EQ.

Elliot Sound Products used to have a guitar/bass preamp with active EQ but I cna't find it on his site now. I have the schematic if you want it though.
