Hi,

I am sure I made a thread here earlier today about signal splitting but I can't find it anywhere....

I asked, and am asking again, is it possible to make a passive splitter from one 1/4" jack to two so I can run one guitar signal into 2 amps? Or do I need to make a splitter with a circuit?

thanks
Shane

The forum just got moved so recent posts were lost but I will reitterate what I originally posted for you.

You may have signal loading issues. The safest thing to do is to use an active splitter. They are not hard to build.

http://www.diyguitarist.com/DIYStompboxes/MyStompboxes.htm hey this isnt exactly what you wanted but it came to mind off the top of my head. This is two guitars buffered so you can switch between them . So that is two guitars into one amp. It wouldnt be rocket science to reverse engineer the other way. He has a lot of info at his sight so check it out.
