A very Unique Case of Pedal Modding
« on: May 28, 2006, 08:07:44 AM »
Ok, I have this Yamaha pedal which looks like this

It was meant for the keyboard to act as a sustain pedal

And this is what the insides look like

The main problem is having to release the whole pedal itself before it switches channel, how can I fix that. Can I also add LED lights to it?

I have a cube 30W btw, so the footswitch plugs directly into the footswitch jack, that's why it works with 1 jack  ;D

Also I don't like the switch, how can I mod the switch?

Sounds like an unlatched switch rather than a latched switch.  I have a Boss footswitch that has the same behavior when used as a channel switcher.  I'd like to change it so it changes when pressed down and not released as well.  Just not sure how to do it.
