1/2watt resistors too big?

Hey all,
My local electronics store doesnt have 1/4watt resistors.
What they have are: 100k ohm 1/2watt 1% metal film resistors.
Would these be ok for this project?

I use them when I don't have the proper 1/4 watt. You may just have to stand them on end a bit to make them fit.

Nope, they just take up a little more room.
