I did some searching and found most of what I need but...

I plan to put the LED/LDR's in heat shrink - How close together should they be?  Should they touch?  If so should I heat the shrink or just slide it over them and leave 'em be?

Thanks

When I made mine, I put them in a 3/4" sleeve of wire insulation, touching. Then sealed both ends with black caulking (being careful not to get it down in where they are working!).

I did one end (LDR in my case), let it dry, then soldered it to the board.  Inserted LED & soldered, then sealed the top.  Hope it works for ya!

Thanks.  Got it together - not boxed though.  It fired right up the first time 8) gotta like that.  Haven't decided on a box yet.  I have a couple of BB's around but I was thinking of having a friend bend up a steel box ala the Deja Vibe.  Will post pics when done.

Glad to hear it, Stumper...it's a nice vibe  :icon_cool:
I used a dead wah, and wired the pot for speed control...works out pretty cool, I can get a leslie organ sound or just set it like Robin Trower/Hendrix...
