No, I am not casting for gay porn.

But with 866 hits at the moment (which makes it the most or second most looked at thread here, much to my surprise), I am assuming there was some interest in this circuit.  So, I am curious as to whether anyone has built one, and whether they have any comments on the shortcomings or strengths of the circuit and any recommendations for either use or tweaking.  Not fishing for praise, just design comments and better ideas.

BILLYL

WILL BE BUILDING IT THIS WEEKEND.  THE SOUND CLIP I HEARD OF IT WAS PRETTY NICE.

I'LL LET YOU KNOW WHAT I FIND.

AND THANKS ALWAYS FOR GREAT STUFF..............

I built one and it didn't work. I haven't had time to do much trouble shooting yet. I modified Marcos's layout so maybe I messed up. I'm curious if any one has had success with his version of of the layout done on the Eagle program.

No, not at the moment, but I'll let you know how my day shapes up... :D

So where is this soundclip I heard about? Somehow I missed this thread.

Sounds/looks like an interesting and useful project, Mark. :)

The soundclip are in Mark's site. I bought all the parts to build mine, didn't built yet because I forgot to bought some etch substance (don't know the name in english).

Okay, I guess I'll just have to be patient a while longer.  Just stay away from my wife, Doug.

The soundclip is packed into the zipfile at hammer.ampage.org

Mark,
I finally caught up to this thread,  and got a chance to listen to the clip.   I really liked it.   I loved the "sparkle".
This is on my "to-do" list.
Thanks, Ed R.

Mark, that soundclip is very impressive. Sounds like it really gets the job done. Nice to see a project like this that is less complex than the boss acoustic simulator.

I have an acoustic/electric for this sort of thing, but in the future who knows, a device like this might really come in handy.

You done good! :D

Mine still just squeals like a pig. I flipped a few of the diodes around because there seems to be a bug between Marcos's layout and the schematic as far as their orientation.

Mark Hammer

Pity.  Didn't take all that long to perfboard, really.  If you get desperate....
