GGG's Boutique Fuzz...blah!

doesnt work! my DMM is MIA. SO! has anyone had problems with these suckers/wired em up?

$uperpuma has convinced me to just go for a Fuzz Face.

can i use the same board as the Boutique Fuzz and wire that somehow to get it going plain and simple 2 knobby jobby like the fuzz face?

i hate signatures with gear lists/crap for sale....

Pick up a cheap MM at Harbor freight.  Then go through the what to do when it doesn't work thread.
You have given very little info here.  

You can probably use the same board but I would tought this out and get it fired up.  Fuzz Faces can be made on a small ratshak perf. Might as well have both.

  I'd have to get directions, and see the route's used, they are both FF's, the boutique has a couple/few 'extra's, so a 'Fuzz Face' is in the Boutique version.
  DMM failure is a drag, my first DMM is on it's third battery clip re-wiring..
  The posts for the leads, mounted/soldered in the PCB also were repaired by reflowing those connections, pressing the posts in as I heated/added a touch of fresh solder/allowed heat to sink through.

My + ground Ge FF uses an NTE102 for Q1 and a NTE102A for Q2
My - ground Si FF uses a PN2963/2n2963 for Q1 (a must) and a 2N5088/2n3904 for Q2

OK, that's 901 posts - I think this place is habit forming.
