You can use it as a crude tone generator, a basic square wave LFO for a tremolo or just as a regular clock for something else (those sequenced wah/trem/whatever pedals) and I think you can also use it as a flip flop.

I salvaged a copier or 3-4 of them for wires 7 years ago...About 100 projects later I still have wire not much ......Analogman gave a bunch of stuff away for free on this site couple years ago...Got tons of chips and electros and tants, caps....He will be back maybe Zvex or somebody like Keeley will be around with stuff ...You never know here..... this is THE PLACE TO BE!!!!!
