Hello All,
I was considering the Maestro Ring Mod pedal for my next project and was wondering... Of the few of you guys who have found the MC1495 chip needed for the build, what did you pay for it? I've read through the posts where some have said that they are very expensive. Are we talking 5-10$ (wow that's an expensive chip!) or $25+ (maybe I'll try another build) chip.
I have a lead on a few of them and they are super pricey (maybe I'll try another build). Just wanted to make sure I wasn't getting ripped.

Thanks in advance
AJ

Check out smallbear electronics I think I paid $7 plus shipping for mine but I bought 4 and I bought from a surplus place. Steve at smallbear
is a top notch guy, you'll probably need other parts from there anyway.

I have some clips and pics at www.mrdwab.com/john  (under the pedals page) I also posted a better sized power layout if you search Maestro RM-1  The Larger caps did not fit at all on build, so I made the layout larger...

Thanks for the info. I had no idea Small Bear was selling these (I just wasted a TON of time).
By the way, your wood enclosures are beautiful.
Thanks
