Hey there, I've just built the fox tone machine using the ggg layout and have tested the transistor voltages which appear fine. It all seems to function ok except............my sustain pot seems to behave a little weirdly.......it seem to dip in the centre and get louder at both extremes of the turn (like clockwise and anti clockwise) This doesn't seem right to me, is this normal?
Thanks

Not with mine........

Guess there must be something wrong

Thanks, does your pot increase the gain/disortion? or compression/sustain?

Quite possible you've got your leads mixed up.

My pcb was faulty. I'd bridged the pads that go to the sustain pot 1 and 3. So the sound has now mutated from blatty fuzz to rockout mayhem. The sustain pot is working properly.
(rude blatty fuzz can be cool at times , i may put a switch in between these two pads.....)
Thanks again for the feedback.
