Any opinions on the Shaka HV?

I am looking to build an overdrive for my princeton and would like if i should go ahead with the build. I don't want over the top distortion. I just want something that will sound pleasing with my amp at moderate levels. What do you think of the shaka HV and are there better alternatives? Thanks

i hear good things about the shaka, but i ahven't built it myself but i do like the standard boss od for a good medium grind.
