Which way does the Tranny go?

Which way should the tranny sit in the socket?

This is the info on mine: 

Silicon Type Type Mat Case Diss Vcb Ic Hfe Hfe @25C Bias
2N2222A NPN TO-92 500mW 60V 800mA 100 150mA

According to the Gus Smalley boost schematic,

Pin one goes to the 10K resistor and 10uF cap junction
Pin two goes to the junction of the 10K and .1uf cap
Pin three goes to the junction of the 22uF cap and 5k pot
....just look at your socket and trace out which is which.   Sometimes I label those points with a sharpie as I assemble things  ;)

Cool man, Ive since got it working.

The top pin of the transistor socket is the collector socket so I just made sure that the collector pin on the trannie was in it.
