BD3201 (replacement for AL3201) ????

Anyone heard of this:

The BD3201 is supposedly a replacement for the AL3201 (wavefrontsemi's reverb chip).
But only the first page of the datasheet is available for download...

That's good news. Since it's coming directly from China maybe they'll sell it by the pound...

Interesting. Looks like the beginning of another chapter in the history of this chip. First Alesis, then Wavefront, now BDNC. Not sure if this will make the chip more readily available, but we'll have to wait and see.

Is this the same as the BDNC chip, or a different manufacturer?

The CoolAudio chip is apparently used in the new compact Behringer pedals. I think that Behringer acquired a company called CoolAudio years ago, but would have to find a source on that.
