A friend of mine is building a Telecaster with one double coil pickup in the bridge position.
He wants to be able to have a boost and a coil tap in the guitar. Here's the problem: he wants the boost AND coil tap to happen at the same time with one switch (preferably a pot with a switch) Is this even possible? I'm stumped.

3PDT, use two poles for the boost bypass and the third pole for the coil tap. Unfortunately I don't know of anyone that makes a 3PDT push/pull pot, so it would have to be a separate toggle.
