do i need a stereo input jacK?

Do i need a stereo input jacK for grounding?

If not, where can i ground?
i accidnetly just bought 2 1/4" mono switchcrafts, can i still finish my project?

The stereo clip is so the unit can be turned off when unplugged (the circuit is turned off). If you just want to finish the project, connect the battery negative (black wire) to the sleeve of the input jack and simply unplug the battery when you are not using the pedal. Or wire a switch to turn the circuit on and off.

You wire ground the same place the articles says to wire ground; to the sleeve of the input jack.

The only difference is the black wire of the battery, connect it to the sleeve too. Instead of the ring of the input jack:

As the DIY FAQ says - (see link above), all grounds connect together and then connect to the sleeves of the jacks.
