How to ground?
« on: October 04, 2006, 03:24:29 AM »
I have problem with grounding, how do you all ground?

Where should all the grounds in a circuit go. I remember that back at school, we used to have a power supply that came with a ground. Now I don't have such power supply, only bread board and 9V,

Is there anyway to make a simple ground?

Please read the DIY FAQ. It covers this right at the beginning. For most pedals, all the ground points connect together and then connect to the input and output jack sleeves. (Lugs that connect to the sleeve).

Hey john(?!),
As aran said the best way around it is to read the FAQ,
Like you two weeks ago i asked the same question and the easyiest way to find an answer (i thought) was to post in here.
I was helped but aron suggested i read the FAQ, and it not only answered my question but taught me much much more :)

Check out for a thread called 'Grounding' a few topics down the line. you will find some more info there,
