Im sure this has ben asked somewhere before but all I could really find were people wanting to make multi FX exp pedals. I have been playing around with a flanger for a while now and would really like to have a flanger with a foot controlled sweep. Which is the best circuit to use for this and how would you make it happen?

Thanks

Pull out the sweep pot, mount it in a crybaby shell and connect the two with a stereo cord.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.

What do you mean by sweep pot? I probably arent making any sense but I though they automatically swept and you controlled the rate of the sweep. Is there a specific flanger you are reffering to or one that would be good for this?

Some flangers have a control labled "manual" which will set the position in the range of available sweep. When the sweep control is set to zero, the "manual" control can be used to manually sweep.

What is the make/model of your flanger?
