"Manual" chorus

I'm finding the manual knob very interesting on the A/DA Flange - particularly with the Range all the way over so the LFO does not effect the circuit at all - twisting the manual knob then becomes very fun.  (I need to get the expression pedal input wired up)

I'm curious as to what a "stuck" Chorus would sound like - (probably not as interesting as a Flanger, but I don't know) I took my Small Clone, and used the scope to watch the LFO signal coming off of the wiper of the Depth pot - with depth full up, it looks like it's sweeping between .04 and .24 volts.  (actually, I should check that again - I'm not certain right now where I had the volts/division set - but regardless) if I disconnect the wiper of the Depth pot, and insert a knob/pedal-adjustable voltage between the ranges I'm reading there, I should get what I'm looking for?  Would a voltage divider work here?
