Maestro Rhythm and Sound

Not sure if a D.I.Y. guitar FX builder is way out of his league trying to build a beast like this, but it would be really cool to at least find a schematic for one of these.  Would any of you know where I could find one?   It would be especially cool if building one didn't involve finding rare parts.  I heard tale that Hendrix was using one in his last days, the Beastie Boys are also especially fond of theirs.   :twisted:
