Can I use this thing to match FETs?  And what sort of values should I be getting?  Just so I know I'm doing it right.  My phase 45 isn't phasing and I think I may have improperly matched my fets.

No.

PNP is not equal to P-channel, NPN is not equal to N-channel. Unless there is a range with the meter which explicitly does FETs, those are bipolar only. Some meters MIGHT.

Um... it only takes a few minutes with a breadboard and an opamp to make a JFET matcher.

In response to the questions in the forum - PCB Layout for Musical Effects is available from The Book Patch. Search "PCB Layout" and it ought to appear.
