Please help me verify my Mouser parts list before I order

Yes, I've heard it before. "Don't use Mouser when you're a noob." However, seeing as I had already put together most of this order by the time I heard that advice, I'm just going to go with it. I actually like the Mouser system, believe it or not. But, of course, I'd still feel MUCH better if you'd all help me verify that these parts are indeed what I need. Here's the list, with links to the Mouser part:

One .1uF (Film if possible)
Three Electrolytics 10uF, 22uF and 47uF
Two 10K resistors
One 47K resistor
Two 100K resistors
One NPN transistor 2N5088, 2N2222 etc.... (I got a couple of these, here and here. I'll see which I like better.
One 5K linear pot. Quite unsure about this one..
Stereo input jack
Mono output jack
PCB
Box
Switch - got a couple, to see which I prefer. Here and here.
DIP8 IC socket

Thanks a ton in advance for taking the trouble to help a noob out.  :icon_biggrin:

Looks fine except I couldn't verify the Perfboard. Check out the store link above - that's the type of perboard you want to be using for this project.

If you plan to cut up the socket for making transistor sockets, try and find the linear strips of sockets.

My components shop has them and they are great! You can just snap them off at what length you need and you are sorted.
i have to get my hands on some of your germs.  very soon.
Anywhere but here, that would seem odd...

Thanks to both of you, and I'll look into that strip prospect.

As for the perfboard, this is its item page. I don't know if it's acceptable or not:

EDIT: Also, what do I need to get to be able to use a power supply for this pedal? And where can I get wire/what kind of wire should I get? Thanks for all the help  :icon_mrgreen:

Any stranded hookup wire will work. 24 gauge is fine:

That perfboard looks OK. I never knew they had it.

I cut up the DIP 8 because it's way cheap and the single inline sockets are hard to find where I am. Plus they are expensive compared to the DIP.

Check out the Wiki link. TONS of info.

Another quick question: is uf and mf the same when referring to poly film capacitors?  I think I'd like to order from small bear, and they have them listed as mf.  Thanks.

Yes, the same.
