I downloaded the datasheet for the VTL5Cx series with application notes from datasheetarchive.com.
I could not find it at the manufacturer site.

datasheetarchive.com --> search for: VTL5 --> download the PerkinElmer.com specs. (1000Kb)

Some simple limiter, compression and sustainer circuits at the end of the file.
