Looks good.

One thing: As far as I can see, the wire from pin 3 (the upper one) on the gain pot should go to row d instead of row f.

I guess that C3 is not soldered to row d?

Personally I would also credit Gus Smalley for the design.

Carsten

That's it... the C3 is not soldered to the row "d"... I just added the jumper to fit it there without moving it to the next column..

And the wire is really placed in the wrong spot.. I'll fix it later...

And about credits, I really didn't credit anybody because I assumed that everyone here knew that it was designed by Gus... but if it's better, I can put a credit to him on the picture =)

Looks good!

I will recommend that you use a socket for the transistor. This way you can try different types.

Have fun

Built one of these little beasts late last night - using this stripboard layout.

Will post later with results as it was a little too late to play with amps.  ;D

Many thanks for posting the schmatics / layouts guys - and for the excellent help forum.

Cheers!

Hello nice people. I'm an absolute newbie so this may sound stupid but...

what is a vero layout?

By the way, this is my first post and my first project as well so please don't be hard at me.

Nice forum!

Thanks.

Vero and stripboard are the same here. It's a way of utilizing the built in tracks of copper on the board so you can "wire" a circuit without having to create a printed circuit board.

Yes! Yes! Yes!

Can definitely say this layout works - and it's amazing how much gain you can get out of such a small circuit.

Just need to box up and will soon have a new 'Pedal of Choice'.

Thanks to the techies and boffins for posting these diagrams.

Very interesting. Where can I get one of those?
