What size mounting holes....?

What size mounting holes do you guys drill for the 3PDT button and for the audio jacks? I'm sure this has been answered, so sorry

For the stomp switch 1/2" is OK and for the jacks it depends on the style:

For switchcraft types is 3/8" to 7/16" (other brands may be a little more or a little less, but within the range)

For plastic types (Marshall style) is 7/16" to 1/2"

Treat yourself to a unibit type drill bit. Great for drilling enclosures so you don't have to keep changes bit for each different hole.

+1 I have always used a unibit from early on. But then I didn't really know the sizes I was drilling. Thanks for the info!

That's the one I use too. So if you don't know the size of the hole you're about to drill just drill a hole one size at a time and check if it fits, if it don't, drill to the next drill size until you find the correct one.
