Marcos - Munky

I uploaded the files for corrected Woody layout. Check my site.

Mark Hammer

Thanks to both you and Bill.  Anyone built a working unit yet?

Marcos - Munky

I didn't built it yet, but I'm planning to start to build it in Monday.

Bill Bergman

I assume you mean Bill Lawrence, but I haven't had any luck getting mine to work. Something still wrong with Marcos's layout. It has 2 anode sides of the diodes connecting to pin 10 of IC2.

Marcos - Munky

I'm uploading the correct version of the image/eagle file.

Aharon

I think I've detected something wrong with the Bill LAwrence PCB.
The filter cap on the TL072's pins 6/7 is not in parallel with the 22K resistor..
Maybe I'm wrong.Please check.

You're right, there is this error. Hey Bill (Lawrence), could you correct the layout?

Bill Bergman

Thanks Aharon,
I missed that on my layout also. I'll fix it tonight and see if it works.

BILLYL

No problem will make the correction

Thanks

BILL

Bill Bergman

that was the problem. it works now but I dont have time right now to run it thru the ringers.

still has a squeal when the volume is all the way up butturn it back a bit and it goes away.

my batteries are probably weak also.

sounds sorta acousticy

Bill Bergman

just listened to Mark's sound clip and it doesn't have near the ringyness of his.

Marcos - Munky

I uploaded the correct layouts drawed by Bill Lawrence, the Powerpoint and ExpressPCB files.

Aharon

The Power Point seems to still have the error, maybe you uploaded the same old one by mistake?.

BILLYL

It looks likethe old one to me.

Will need to recheck

I know we have been having problems with our server.

BILLYL

Don't use the files - they are the old ones.  There seems to be a problem and I'll fix it -

BILL

Bill Bergman

by shorting across the 100pf cap below the diodes I get rid of the squealing.
Anybody have a clue?
