Futurlec part alert! 3mm Red LED's

Check the elements inside your 3mm LED's from FUTURLEC, I just got a batch of 50 that according to the lead lengths were backwards. That'll keep ya on your toes :)

There are some manufacturers that do that. I have found some of these thru the years and not exatcly from Futurlec. Better check for the flat side (the cathode) or inside the LED itself: the part that looks like a cup is the cathode and the smaller one is the anode. ;)

Hey how it going Nate?  Another thing to watch for is the LED side of a vactrol marked backwards.  Not just from Futrulec but any company.  This happened to me and others I know of.  This can screw up an otherwise flawless build.
