there's this great little tool: http://www.peakelec.co.uk/acatalog/jz_dca55.html

tells you pinout, gain, leakage, type... of any transistor, fet or diode :)
i know what my next buy will be.



oh i've already got the esr tester, it helps quite a bit in my tube amp repairs.

Has been mentioned a few times on this forum. Some forumers have this little tool.

Yes, it is usefull for germs. It also tests the leakage current.
