Same reaction...

No play after 20 sec
Before no problem...
Sorry for my bad english !!

Record a short loop, then try a playback. Do you see a blip on LD1 at the end of the loop ?

With REPEAT connected to SK5 does it continue to blip or just blip the one time ?

#24
With repeat connected to play level it blips.

BUT

I have find a way to make it work at LAST !!!!

I connect a trimmer between REPEAT point and play edge (value around 16.1k)
When i record i can switch into play mode whithout any problem even after 20 sec.

I add a switch between pitch mod and normal speed (with a 555 going to clock speed)
but with the trimmer now the clock speed don't really change. It cut every thing when i turn the pitch pot backward.
The trim pot react as a proximity pitch controller when i am into pitch mod....  :icon_eek:

Nice stuff !!but that's not what i wanted to do !!

Great to hear.

Altering the voltage to change the pitch is a very tricky thing to do. You can only starve the IC so far before it shuts down. You are going to have to limit the the range of the voltage swing.

Andrew

No no i don't starve the ISD.

I did as bugbrand  ;)

A 555 clocked at high frequency !

Now the pitch control is altered by my last modification as i described in my last post

Am i clear enough ??

The Tone God

Ah I get it now. It sounds like something is happening with you clock source. High speed clocks can be difficult. What are you using for CV ?
