yeah it's brand new

There are 2 versions available - a handpainted version and a USA Vexter version - not sure if the hand painted ones are out yet though

no longer the battle of midway...(i left that band)...

i hate signatures with gear lists/crap for sale....

i am a wah pervert...ask away...

Hmm... I'm not into the artwork on the box of rock and box of metal. They don't feel "bouncy" enough to be a true zvex, if you get my point of view.

I was browsing his site I think just a few hours after he uploaded all the videos.

IMO, after hearing the comparisons to the high gain amps, the amps just sound so much bigger. I guess it's a matter of headroom. You can only do so much with 9V.

I actually feel also that the box of metal sounds like a box of rock, or in fact a crunch box with a lot more gain. It's kinda too crunchy to chug.

The gate function is a cool thing though. I especially liked the video with the drum machine. Gave me the inspiration to run my drum machine through a gatey fuzz I built and woooo I like it.

Checked out the videos at home.  Nice sounds, nice marketing.  My son like the BOM better than the amps.

I'm guessing 4 SHO's, EQ and Gate, since the BOR was 3 SHO's.   :icon_cool:

What's the deal with the killer oscillation, though?

mmm Erik has not heard metal since the 80s  ;D

Hanglow

Who cares when we have the lovely Dr Boogey  ;D

Although I like the gate. I don't have one yet, could be useful with my sloppy play.

John Lyons

I've heard that it has all surface mount components inside.

If it was 4 SHOs that would be very funny, very possible as well though...
BOR is 4 fets actually (including the boost)

Well it could be in tradition with the Super Duper and be two BoR's in series with a tone control  ::)

DWBH

Or none of that, possibly.

No-one's insulted it yet ...

It's too think and fizzy for my tastes. Maybe if I goof with it in person, I'd like it -- but I still prefer my distortion and the Small Fry (going by the online demos).

You still can have a good pedal with surface mount components, just check a NIG.
