I think there is either a typo in a description, or a typo in my knowledge  :D

For the transformer you sell, you say

EH Toroidal Transformer - for high voltage tube projects. Very cool, input 12VAC and get 230VAC out. Rectify for up to 310VDC using a wall wart!

Should it be input 120vac?

aron

No, that's correct. 12 volts AC (with wallwart) and get high voltage DC out. That's how EH powers their tube pedals. Anyway, the product is no longer sold by EH. (Bummer).

Thanks Aron

so what it is is you put in 12v ac

and get out 230v ac

or you can get out 310v dc?

And also, would these be good for either tube driver, shaka, or real mctube?

Thanks

slacker

You put 12 volts AC in you get 230 volts AC out, if you rectify the 230 volts AC you get about 310 volts DC.

>And also, would these be good for either tube driver, shaka, or real mctube?

No, those are all low voltage tube circuits.
