Hello Everyone...

I've recently completed my first build, the UglyFace. I've added a DC jack and a LED to the original schematic. The problem (or not) comes when the 'P3 Sensitivity' control is turned all the way up. I've found I can alter the pitch of the oscillation by turning the tone on my guitar from 0 -10. Does anyone else have this 'problem' ?? I've tried it with battery and power supply, and different guitars including a Strat, SG and a Flying V. All have the same effect. When I lower P3 it stops behaving in this way.

It's not that I don't like it, I'm just wondering if I'm gonna blow something.

Yours confused...

The I wouldn't really call it a problem :)  Mine do this as well. its part of the beauty of this ugly beast. don't forget the lasers.

Nice one !! I had an idea it was just part of it's 'personality' but I couldn't be too sure.

Thanks.

Hi,

I'd just like to know if it's normal to get almost immediate heavy self oscillating motorboat type sounds when P1 (threshhold) gets turned up ?...or have I got a short circuit somewhere ?

Other than that the beast seems to work fine...nize sizzling barbecue sounds.

past halfway, it oscillates completely on its own.
