Deltalabs effectron III delay foot controller

Hi everyone and happy new year

I have a Deltalabs effectron III rackmount delay i want to start using live as its great but Delta labs is long defunct and i cannot seem to get a foot pedal for it anywhere, let alone the manual. The unit can be bypassed, have an infinate repeat (like a sampler) and the modualtion can be controled by an expression pedal or CV. I plan to make the most of it so i want to build a foot pedal which will bypass the effect and turn the infinate repeat on seperatly. 
i have the manual which has the diagrams for wiring a footswitch for bypass and infinite repeat. they are easy to wire but i want to have a status led to show when there active or not, which i am not sure how to do.

Now i know this isn't exactly a stomp box but i didn't know where elese to turn. I hope this is some use to other effectron users and if any one wants a copie of the full manual + schemetic just let me know.

I think I actually have THE box that you're asking about.

It's a really simple three-footswitch box with three SPST momentary switches, wired to three 1/4" mono jacks. Couldn't be simpler.

If you want status LEDs, that's a little more complex. You would need to devise a circuit that would do two things from one switch: flip an LED on and stay on until the next switch action, and simultaneously send a momentary closed switch action to the delay.

I've never done such a thing, but with a simple logic circuit it should be easily done. You want two logic circuits (flip flops?) that are triggered by the same footswitch. One changes state from low to high and stays there, to light the LED, and the other switches from open to closed momentarily to switch the effect. Now that I'm thinking of it, maybe you could do it with a simple CMOS 4016/4066?

The reason that you can't easily do it with a standard footswitch is because the Effectron wants to get a momentary OFF------ON---------OFF action to trigger the bypass/infinite repeat, etc. and the LED wants to get a latching OFF-------ON--------------until you hit the switch again to kill the effect-----OFF action.

Thanks for the quick reply. it seems this is more complecated than i thought. i thought it would be a regular stompswitch. It says this in the manual.
Inifinte repeat
"As shown below, by shorting the tip to the sleeve, the digital memory will be recirculated indefinatly. To defeat this function you simply disconect the tip from the sleeve"
Bypass
"By shorting the tip the ring, the pre conditioned audio is directly routed through the cable and back to the demphasizing  circuitry in the unit to bypass all digital and feedback paths."
Which gave me the impression it was an easy to do on off thing.

2 jacks. 1 for repeat 1 for bypass. It says mono cable for repeat and stereo cable for bypass.

The switching is easy. Like I said, the unit that I have is three momentary SPST switches going to three mono 1/4" jacks. Elementary stuff.

The issue is that if you wanted to add indicator LEDs, it's a whole new ball of wax, so to speak. It's not at all like using a 3PDT footswitch to bypass an effect.

From the info you've presented it sounds like the footswitch would use standard switches.  You wire up one side of each switch to short the terminals when pressed and wire the opposite side to turn on an LED when pressed.

I know i am not the best at explaining but what theehman has described is what i had thought the manual ment so i'll try that.
Theehman if you wouldn't mind doing a diagram for me i would really apreciate it as i have a gig tomorrow and i would love to use the effectron then so no time to mess about.
