gena_p1

It is Sprint Layout.
Very simple, cozy, and popular on ex USSR space.

Nice Small Clone indeed!
If you ever plan on making more of these double sided PCBs I'd be interested in buying one!

Hello together,
first i like to say: Great pedals, really awesome  :o

So here's my little pedal, it's not an a-type-enclosure,
but I hope its okay to show it here  ;)

A simple IC-Buffer against tone-sucking, I call it the "Popeye-Buffer":

Maybe theres someone who would like to build a Fuzz Face in a small enclosure,
so here are my two newest (and smallest possible) layouts for the Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face,
one in positive ground and the second in negative ground:

Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face Mini-Layout (Germanium PNP, positive ground)

Dallas Arbiter Fuzz Face Mini-Layout (Germanium PNP, negative ground)

Anyway, here are all my other layouts
(three pages, look at the bottom, theres are three numbers to click on):

OK, true story:

This weekend the last Mod-project got done, (Les Paul copy hacked to shreds) I needed something new to do with my gear so as not to start hacking away at my "real" guitar. Took a long hard look on my ugly pedal board, realized half the stuff I wanted replaced and half was to damned big. So DIY of course! ...
Googled this thread, half way through it I was stoked By the raw skill, talent and artistry shown here I ordered four 1590A boxes...
Gone through the whole thread now, followed every link, read every word.

THANK YOU! Got an incredible boost of inspiration and NEED to Mod.
Realized I want another (four)+seven 1590A boxes to convert as much as I can and re-make the rest..

I am in Awe from this thread, DAMNED nice , well everything!

gena_p1 : Sell me a clone! :D , Dan, solderman and the rest of you Oh My God!! Impressive.
[Swedish: solderman: vill du bli av med ngr överblivna projekt Skicka dem Till Götet ;) jag betalar :D  ]

beware of addiction  :D  :D  :D  :D

Thanks for the warning  ;D   , too late I think ^^
6days of researching I found out that all my pedals O.o can either be modified into 1590A case, or rebuilt from released schematics / buyable PCBs  :icon_eek:  :icon_eek: :icon_eek:
some already done it.
(well all except my Gristleizer ;) tuner and EQ ( yet the MXR 6band and Korg Pitchblack is at least kind of small already)
So that is, Tuner+EQ+Gristleizer+ ....
12!!!!!! 1590A cases..

Might be able to fit it all except grist.. on my small board....

sexxey!!!

Again thnx for a great thread!!  Now I got half a year of making / Modding mini pedals to look forward to :D

thnx again :) keep up the stellar work ppl :D

YEa that might be a problem ;)
*1.95meters tall.  wears Boots.. +  miniPedals.. hmmm, switching system?  , nah, easy enough ;) Not like I need all pedals on a the gigBoard,  and dont need to put them with 1mm seperation ;) .
Still, looking really really forward to bringing more then the old set of 6pedals to a gig because of the smaller size :D
*I always miss somethings. But dont like to carry to much, or fill out the floor.

#Edit:
dammit... now you made me wanna make a tiny but almost full legnth switching system for the bottom of the board.. making it sorta possible to really use and fit all on my Tiny Board .....  grummmbless.. 8months modding to do..
well atleast that shall keep my nonMOD guitar safe for a while ^^

Hammond 1590A Die-Cast aluminium enclosure ("stomp box") :
You can find them in pretty much any well stocked electronics supplier
but there all over the place in guitar stores etc, pre-drilled, pre painted all kinds of things.
(just started modding em myself ;) but since I did spend the week researching it:

http://www.mouser.com/
http://www.smallbearelec.com/
http://www.musikding.de/
http://www.banzaimusic.com/
http://www.pedalenclosures.com
http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/

That's some of the places. Not recommending anything in particular since I got mine locally (Gothenburg-Sweden). But plenty of stuff to choose from there, custom drilling custom painting, hammond originals and hammond ripoffs etc etc.
