Finished this one up this week.  Not the coolest looking pedal I've done, guess I got lazy on the label design.

Ratz!  Sorry for the new topic.  I'm a noob to this forum.  I thought I was posting this in the pics thread that was already here.

Hey welcome dude. Nice pedal! very classy and old vintage looking...simple and elegant. Go on and post it in the picture section! ;)

Dan
I know, but the pedal i built does not boost...it just increases volume!

Thanks Dan.  I'll do that.  Didn't mean to clutter the place up.  Haha!

Like the 70's look - what technique did you use?

It's a Thor?

Good guess!  I should have mentioned that it's a Thor.  It sounds pretty good at lower gain.  I haven't taken it to practice yet to try it out at full volume with my Marshall rig.  That will be the real test.

What tecnique?  It's a color laser print on plain paper that then gets spray glued to the box and gets about 20 coats of clear spray paint.  As long as I can be patient and wait for it to fully dry before I start putting everything together they turn out pretty nice looking and durrable.

I'm a little confused on the policy of posting the names of pedals and other web sites.  This was a project I did with a fifth grade kid at the school I work at.  I made the circuit boards and we did the rest together, each making our own pedals.  His soldering was a little shakey and he suffered a little attention deficiency now and then, especially when gathering all the parts and checking all their values, but it came out pretty cool and he has a totally usable diy pedal.
