Bypasses fine, LED lights when on but no sound
« on: April 05, 2008, 12:59:20 PM »
Second time i've tried building this. It sounds fine when bypassed and the LED lights when it's on and both jacks are in but there's no sound at all. Been quickly through the GEO debugging page (http://www.geofex.com/fxdebug/newfx.htm) and i'm going to go through it again but does anyone have any other suggestions to get it working? Feels like i'm so close to getting there!!

Thanks,

adam

Easiest things to try are switching the tranny around, checking the soldering connections on the board and making sure all of the connections to the board are in the right spot (ie it's getting power, the ground is connected to the input/output jack, etc...)

Check voltages on the circuit - and also triple-check your jack wiring.

Aron, let me know if I'm off base here, but since he is getting sound while bypassed the jack wiring should be ok.  Leaving the switch wiring (which 'should' be ok since the LED is working) and circuit board connections including the input, output, ground and hot connections.  Right?
