Desolder and move the yellow OUT wire aside. Remeasure the 2M2 resistor - hopefully the meter will not display 0 but 1 (open circuit).

top right yellow wire output
next blue wires are volume 3 2 1 in that order

yellow wire unsoldered it is showing 1 now

OK. Now that the yellow wire has been disconnected you should now have audio passing through the 1uF capacitor.
The short circuit has been cleared by removing the yellow wire which means that the other end of the yellow wire connects to ground (O Volts) somewhere it shouldn't. Usually the stomp switch wiring is the where the problem is.

I got it now. I wired the output jack backwards. Just my luck.

We all make mistakes and wiring can be the most difficult to sort  :icon_redface: But you got there. All good  8)
