Wow.  That's some eye-candy gear you have there.  You are a better person than me for checking Hfe on a Big Muff of any kind.  I follow the EH philosophy and throw some random ones in : P

I had an early EH pedal, actually an early EH Guild Foxey Lady. I measured the transistor gain in circuit and both transistors were about 120-125 hfe. Its probably a lot different in a big muff.
